For many of us, learning to drive is a rite of passage that we are eager to get started on – Often taking our first lessons almost immediately after turning 17, with the aim to pass our test as soon as possible and get out on the roads in our own cars before turning 20!

However for many, the process doesn’t come until much later in life – Perhaps due to the cost of learning to drive, or maybe even being a nervous driver. It looks like Summer 2018 has finally arrived – Better late than never! Luckily for all of us who enjoy driving, the improved weather now means we can take to the roads with our family and friends, to soak up some of the sunshine with our cars roofs and windows down.

If you are going to be having your window down however, just remember there are some safety aspects to consider. If you have children or pets in the car with you, make sure they are completely safe by an open window – And watch out for any freak summer showers!
