The government have announced that drivers from the UK living in the EU are urged to swap their licence for a local one.

If not they may have to pass a test where they live.

The government also said those living in the UK who want to drive in the EU after 29 March might need an international driving permit (IDP).

This said driving permit costs £5.50 and can be brought at some post offices.

New dealer-to-home car delivery service makes its announcement.

Handling all aspects of the handover, which includes the explanation of specifications, key technology and benefits to the driver will be done. According to the Motor Delivery, a number of dealer groups have expressed an interest in the delivery service which will improve customer service massively.

Vehicles will be delivered in partnership with Vision Drive, who have handled more than 100,000 vehicle movements since 2016.

Would you like to buy a car online and it be delivered the next day? The service is free to dealers and financed by the car buyer. Charged are variable depending upon distance; an 85-mile journey would cost a customer £132 inclusive of VAT.

In 2019 several new laws will be introduced including one on overtaking cyclists as well as plans to clamp down on learner drivers who fail to adhere to the Highway Code.

The big electric vehicles sales stories these days are generally about the Tesla Model 3 walloping the competition.

Nonetheless, we like to go back to our roots and explore overall electric vehicle growth at least once a quarter. The problem is that almost all of the positivity comes from Tesla.

As you can see above, several fully electric models saw their sales decline in the 4th quarter of 2018 versus the 4th quarter of 2017. Aside from the new models (Jaguar I-PACE and Honda Clarity EV), the only models that saw growth were the Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, and Nissan LEAF.

A driver caught speeding 19 times is still not banned from the road.

Despite racking up an astonishing 60 penalty points on their driving licence, it has yet to be revoked.

That means the unnamed offender drives around perfectly legally, even after exceeding the statutory speed limit on a public road so many times.
