I had a great driving instructor – Mary, who was very understanding of my driving needs. I had a great time and passed first time. What a great driving school Britannia turned out to be!
Having had lessons with another driving school, and not enjoying the lessons, i was a bit aprehensive about starting to learn to drive again. However after meeting with my instructor Cameron, I regained my confidence behind the wheel, and progressed at a much faster pace than with the driving school i had previously been with. Cameron explained to me everything I needed to improve on and as a result I recently passed my test. I am very happy with the service I received from Britannia.
Steve was really a good instructor, calm, patient and very helpful.
My driving instructor Daniel was fantastic, from the first lesson he was extremely patient, relaxed and confident with me. He also went out of his way to make sure I was completely prepared for my test, and knew when I needed a confidence boost and was feeling nervous. I was very happy with Britannia and would recommend to anyone.
Richard is a great instructor and in my opinion the best in the business at Britannia. He goes at your pace of driving and won’t rush you into anything. I would recommend anyone to go to Richard and Britannia for driving lessons.
I passed my test first time! A HUGE thank you to my instructor Dave, he’s been patient and fair. He’s got a great sense of humor, he made every lesson interesting and I would not hesitate to recommend him to all. Thank you again Britannia!!!
I had only had 3 lessons when I decided to take my practical test. I saw one of Britannia’s cars and I noted down their number and gave them a call the next day. I booked a couple of lessons and was assigned to my own personal instructor Daniel. He made me feel really comfortable from the very get go, and alerted me every time I made a mistake. I’ve heard from my friends that it is really easy to fail the test as some of them had tried 2 to 3 times and failed, so I was very nervous, but Daniel always had confidence in me and encouraged me all the way through. He recommended the test centre for me, and took me on the test route couple of times and this really help boost my confidence. After the test, I was totally shocked at the result when the Examiner told me “YOU HAVE PASSED”. I could not believe it but I guess I should’ve expected it from the start because I had the best instructor Daniel who believed in me all the way through. Britannia Rules!
Roy has been a fantastic instructor who has helped me get through passing my test first time. He has some great attributes such as a hell of a lot of patience, great sense of humour and an excellent teaching technique always breaking things down logically. I will really miss driving with Roy as he’s a great driving mentor. I wish him all the best in everything he does in life as he deserves it. P.S. Thank you Britannia for giving me a wonderful instructor!!
I passed my test first time im so happy and im very thankful to paul he is great ,he is very calm understanding and he knows how to make learners understand every single manoeuver in very simple manner.thanx again paul highly recommended
I took 3 lessons with Jane and felt extremely pleased with the way she taught me everything. She was very helpful and quickly picked up my weak areas and made me work on them – The result: I passed the first time with just one fault…thanks Britannia 🙂
I started learning to drive with Maryam in the spring and her calm and patient manner meant that my confidence developed quickly, which allowed me take my test and pass first time within a few months. I highly recommend Maryam and Britannia and I feel eternally grateful for the freedom that driving gives me.
I’ve happily passed first time after 40ish hours with Cameron. He’s a patient, calm and helpful instructor and he did a great job of preparing me and making sure I knew all the tricky parts of the Morden test routes. I’d recommend him as an instructor and Britannia as a driving school and will be going back to him for Pass Plus.
My instructor Mary was fantastic. Having lost my confidence with driving, due to another driving school, I was very nervous when I met Mary. However, she built this up again by listening and responding to my needs as a pupil, and a mother with a young family and a full-time job. She was extremely patient (even on the fifteenth attempt at reversing round a corner), and very encouraging. She built me up to the point where the drive on the test was very comfortable. Having passed my test at the first attempt, I now feel like a proper grown-up. Thanks Mary!
My driving instructor Jon was brilliant and he comes highly recommended! He was very patient, fair and understanding and never made me feel bad for doing things wrong, which in turn made me better and more likely not to make mistakes. The lessons were worth every penny as in each one I always felt I had learnt something new and in the end passed first time which I truly believe it’s all down to Jon’s fab teaching and the easy methods he taught me for maneuvers. I never dreaded going to my lesson as I found it fun to learn and believe I found a good friend in Britannia Driving School and my driving instructor Jon!
Last week I passed my driving test on my first attempt. Needless to say I was ecstatic. I had been learning to drive with Jon since April, taking about 40 hours of lessons while working full time and doing part time study. I was able to choose my driving times to suit me and Jon helped me with my hectic schedule by always being on time and by starting some lessons at my office and finishing them at Sainsbury’s! Most importantly, however, on the day of my test I was completely prepared for anything that the examiner could throw at me. Every command that the examiner gave I had heard before, because Jon had been preparing me for the driving test from the very first lesson I took way back in April. I wasn’t, however, only taught how to pass the test, the driving experiences I have had over the past few months were fantastic. All the while I was being taught to respect the rules of the road and my fellow road users and, most importantly, I always felt safe. I am extremely pleased with the tuition I got from Jon, who is a wonderful teacher.
I just passed my test. I would like to thank Eddy for the lessons he gave me and also say thank you to Meryem for taking me on test at short notice and helping me achieve my full driving license.
Learning to drive at seventeen is expected in my family, so I was happy to pass to-day, five weeks after turning seventeen. I was worried about letting my instructor and my father down. They were so keen on getting me through; I was concerned that if I failed they’d feel I’d brought shame on them and all our ancestors and all three of us would have to commit hara-kiri together or something. So it was amazing (and a relief) to pass, I couldn’t believe I’d done it and was now a proper, qualified driver just like my big brother Adam. Thank you Mark, Steve and all at Britannia Driving School, I couldn’t have done it without you! P.S. Now it’s time for me to take the plunge and go out on my own …so I’d advise all motorist to keep off the roads in Wimbledon to-day
I first started my driving lessons with Clare in August having never driven a car before. I was very nervous about driving, but Clare was very patient driving instructor and this helped. I noticed over my time with Clare that she was a perfectionist, and she tried to make sure that my driving was 100% free of errors. Clare made sure that I was ready for my driving test before booking it, despite me seeming to constantly nag at her to book it! I passed my driving test today, and I would think that for money’s worth in terms of driving lessons and fun as well as test success, Clare’s instruction suited me, and will most definitely suit many others. Clare and I are going to have a bonfire of L Plates to-night.
Cannot thank John and Britannia enough. Passed my test this week, and must say that I felt completely ready and supported. Brilliant! Already recommended Britannia to my friends.
Thank you very much for helping me learn to drive in the UK. This would not have been possible without the help of my driving instructor Jon. I had an instructor from a different school for a short time, but once I restarted my lessons with Jon, it was quickly evident that I had not been taught some very basic driving techniques, mandatory and critical for the driving exam. Jon also took me to some very narrow roads for the first time helping me learn the “meeting other road users” techniques. I would recommend both Britannia as a driving school and specifically Jon as an instructor. Many thanks!!!
