Tony is the BEST instructor.
Being a very nervous driver, he would always reassure me & if i didn’t understand something we would practice it until i did. I really admire the patience he had with me EVERY SINGLE LESSON.
Having had my 2 previous tests cancelled due to UK lockdowns, it was my last chance as i am now heavily pregnant.
I had my test today & passed first time with only 3 minors – i can only thank Tony for teaching me his tricks and really helping my confidence grow massively.
I am most definately going to miss our lessons & our great chats!Would Highly recommend to anyone if your a nervous driver like i was

Would definitely recommend Britannia driving school. Passed with 21 hours driving intensive course. My instructor Tony teaches very well and simply makes it easy to understand. He is a very experienced driver. Professional and on time.

I passed first time, doing an intensive course, I had an amazing instructor Kevin!!! I cant recomend this man enough, he is brilliant, made me feel so relaxed and confident and we had an amazing time driving around. I cant thank you enough Kevin you are a superstar.
I went to Britannia after not getting on with my previous driving instructor from another school. They suggested Jane who was an absolutely brilliant instructor. 2 weeks of intensive lessons and I passed first time! Thank you Jane and thanks Britannia
I did the intensive course for automatic driving and had the instructor, David. It was an absolutely fantastic experience as I passed first time! David was incredibly knowledgeable about driving and was able to explain really and concisely why and how to do driving to not only pass a test but also to drive at high standard for the future. He never wasted any time, always worked out when I needed a break and was very calm in some quite stressful situations. If it wasn’t for his style of instructing and great knowledge about the test and how to drive to a very high standard there is no way I could have passed first time. I highly highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn in a short space of time, what ever your level. Needless to say, I had a fantastic experience with Britannia and my instructor overall.
I had a great instructor called Kevin. He was very patient with me and made me feel very calm. It only took me 6 weeks to pass doing 4 hours every Saturday and sunday.i would 100% recommend Kevin as your driving instructor.
Wow! I got my driving licence in only seven days with Britannia Driving School. The idea of taking a six-day intensive course on an automatic with Britannia, was an appealing shortcut for me, which avoided fitting in lessons round work for several months in all sorts of inclement weather. Thanks to my instructor Kevin (God Bless Him) I can now get into my car on impulse and go anywhere I like – to the countryside, to visit friends, shopping.
Kevin has got the patience of a saint and I’m not sure I could have done it without him. FB

Brilliant!
I started driving with Kev on an intensive course and we put at ease as soon as we started. He had lots of hints and tips, which made life easier for me.When it came to my test , he was on Holiday, so Britannia arranged another instructor for me- Neil.
Well, doing so many lessons with one instructor in the same car then moving over to another, was a little daunting. But Neil was also brilliant. He is relaxed as they come, this filled me with confidence.

Mary H, my instructor was extremely knowledgeable, very patient and was able to take me from complete novice to a pass first time in just over 6 days as part of the Intensive Driving course. Amazing value for money and actually great fun! I can’t thank Mary H enough for this experience.
So pleased I went with Britannia. Now in my fifties, I hadn’t really wanted to drive before but changed circumstances at home meant I needed to learn quickly. From the start, the office staff were unfailingly helpful in sorting me out with an intensive course for an automatic that fitted in with other commitments.
My instructor, Mary, was brilliant – took me through the course over six days, giving great constructive feedback and making sure that any emerging faults were corrected. She’s also a really nice person, which helps a lot if you’re in a car for six hours a day!
Have to admit that doing so many hours each day was really tiring, so it may not be for everyone. But it certainly paid off for me. Started driving from scratch less than two weeks ago, and here I am with a full automatic licence – still can’t quite believe it! Thanks a million, Mary!
KEVIN KEVIN KEVIN. What a glorious man. He is the best instructor one can ever possibly want. His famous “reference points” make driving child’s play.
Aside from his supreme knowledge and command of the road he’s actually a great guy too and really wants those that drive with him to succeed and become great safe drivers!
I cannot hold him in higher regard. If you want to pass quickly and safely KEVIN is the way forward. Honestly a true gentleman.
I passed my driving test after an intensive course in croydon. Mary H is the best instructor in south London, very tactical,firm and nice.
Well, where can I start ? I have just passed today , I honestly don’t think I would of without the help of the most amazing driving instructor ! Patience of a GOD, I have to admit I was a handful and honestly if a nervous driver like me can learn how to drive by Kevin’s lessons ANYBODY can ! I’m so confident on the road now and I’ve come a long this man really helped me and I’ll be forever greatful
Kevin was fantastic. He knows exactly what it takes to pass the test which maximised the use of time spent during lessons. He is very personable which I liked and is a must given the amount of time you spend together!
My instructor Mary was lovely and brilliant. She made me so confident, after failing my test twice with my previous instructor I was so discouraged, a friend recommended Britannia so I decided to give driving a try again. Mary did teach me all I needed to pass my test and this time I passed with 3 minors which was brilliant. Thanks Mary.

I first started learning to drive in a manual 5 years ago. After many lessons, I felt demotivated by my confidence levels still being low despite having learnt so much. This led to me giving up due to nerves. After a second try at manual 2 years later, I knew it wasn’t right for me. This Summer, however, I made the decision to try learning in an automatic car via an intensive course and it was the best decision I made. The staff at Britannia supported me through every process necessary and were on hand to answer any questions – I can’t fault their service. My instructor, Kevin, was fantastic at gauging what I needed to do to improve in every lesson and his conscientious teaching led to me passing first time. I am very proud of this achievement and hugely grateful to the team at Britannia for all of their support.
